What our packers and movers do
When you book our packers and movers, you are booking one team for the whole job. We do not hand your goods from one company to another along the way. The people who wrap your crockery are the people who unwrap it in your new kitchen.
A normal move with us runs in this order:
- Inventory and quotation. We go through your rooms with you, in person or on a video call, and send a written quotation.
- Packing. Crockery and glass go into cartons with bubble wrap. Sofas and mattresses are wrapped in stretch film. Beds, wardrobes and dining tables are dismantled and their screws bagged and labelled.
- Loading. Heavy and flat items go in first, cartons on top, fragile cartons last. Nothing is thrown or dragged.
- Transport. A closed Mazda container or the vehicle that suits your load, inside the legal weight limit.
- Unloading and setting. Furniture goes into the room you choose, beds and wardrobes are fitted again, and the packing waste leaves with us.
Packers and movers for every kind of move
Flats and apartments
Flats bring their own problems: narrow stairs, small lifts and building rules. Before the move we ask about the floor, the lift size and the hours the building allows moving. Many buildings in Karachi and Islamabad want a request to the management a day or two before, and on intercity moves the vehicle must stay inside the NHA weight limits. We plan the loading around those rules.
Houses and bungalows
A three or four bedroom house usually fills a 20 or 22 ft container. Big bungalows with full furniture, a home gym or garden furniture may need a 24 ft container or two vehicles. Read more on our house shifting page.
Offices, shops and showrooms
For an office we label every carton by department and desk, so the new office is set up the way your staff expect. Most office moves happen on a Friday night or a weekend. See office shifting.
Single items
A fridge, a sofa set or a piano does not need a full house move. We send a Shehzore or put the item on a shared load. See furniture moving.
How to choose packers and movers you can trust
There are many moving companies in Pakistan, and the cheapest quote is not always the cheapest move. Ask every company these questions before you book:
- Who will pack my goods? Good packers and movers send their own trained packers, not daily-wage labour picked up on the day.
- Is the quotation written? A written quotation lists the vehicle, packing, labour and any fitting, so the price does not change on moving day.
- Will the vehicle be loaded legally? Overloaded trucks get stopped at weigh stations, and your goods wait on the roadside.
- Who answers the phone while my goods are on the road? You should have a supervisor's number, not just the driver's.

Intercity moves
Between cities, we load on the first day and the vehicle runs overnight on the motorway. A move from Lahore to Islamabad usually arrives the same night or the next morning. Karachi to Lahore or Islamabad takes about a day on the road after loading. We confirm the rate for intercity moves after checking your inventory, and you can save money with a shared load if your goods do not fill a vehicle.

What affects the price of packers and movers
No two moves cost the same, even for homes of the same size. These are the things that change the price most:
- Inventory. The number of rooms matters less than what is in them. A three bedroom house with heavy wooden furniture and a full kitchen takes more time than a lightly furnished one.
- Floors and lifts. Carrying a wardrobe down five floors of stairs takes more hands than loading from a ground floor house.
- Distance. Local moves are priced by the vehicle and the job. Intercity moves add the road distance and the direction of travel.
- Packing. Complete packing of every room costs more than loading goods you have already packed yourself.
- AC and fitting work. Each split AC adds time to take down and fit again.
- Date. Month end, month start and the days before Eid are the busiest. Moving mid-month is easier to book.

A large share of our moves are families on postings: officers, civil servants and bank staff transferring between Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan and Peshawar. These moves often come with short notice and a fixed reporting date. We plan them around that date, and if the new house is not allotted yet, we keep your goods in storage and deliver when the keys arrive.
