House shifting that starts with a plan
Good house shifting starts days before the truck arrives. We go through your home with you, room by room, either in person or on a video call. We count beds, wardrobes, sofas, ACs, cartons and anything heavy like a safe or a treadmill. From that list we choose the vehicle, the number of packers and the time we need.
You then get a written quotation that lists the vehicle, packing, labour and AC fitting separately. Nothing gets added on the day unless you add items.

Flats and apartments
Most apartment buildings have rules for moving: fixed hours, a request to the management office, and sometimes a lift booking. Tell us your floor and lift size when you call. If the lift is small, sofas and wardrobes come down the stairs, so we send extra hands.
Houses
A three bedroom house is the most common house shifting job. It usually takes one full day to pack and load, with five to eight people depending on the furniture.
Bungalows and large homes
Large homes with full furniture, heavy wooden pieces and many ACs may need two days of packing and a 24 ft container or two vehicles. We plan these as two teams so the move does not drag on.

If your goods do not fill a vehicle, ask about a shared load. You share the vehicle with another family going the same way and pay for your part only.

Intercity house shifting across Pakistan
Much of house shifting in Pakistan is between cities: families moving from Karachi to Lahore or Islamabad, government and army postings, and people returning to their home town. We plan every intercity move around the motorway route, the loading date and the day you need your home set up, whether it is Lahore to Rawalpindi, Karachi to Multan or Faisalabad to Peshawar.

A house shifting checklist
- Book three to seven days ahead, and earlier before Eid or at month end.
- Empty and defrost the fridge the night before.
- Keep jewellery, cash, passports and medicines with you.
- Tell the building or society office about the move if they need a request.
- Mark anything that should not go, so our team leaves it alone.
- At the new home, tell us which room each piece goes to.

Common house shifting mistakes to avoid
- Booking on the last day. Vehicles for the end of the month are often booked a week ahead. Booking late leaves you with whatever is free.
- Packing everything yourself to save money. Self-packed cartons are often too heavy or too weak. Crockery and glass break when the packing is thin.
- Forgetting the building rules. Many apartment buildings allow moving only at set hours, and some ask for a request a day or two before.
- Not counting the ACs. Every split AC adds time and fitting work. Count them when you ask for a quotation.
- Leaving valuables in drawers. Jewellery, cash and documents should travel with you, not in a wardrobe on the truck.
Moving house in summer, monsoon and winter
In June and July, the heat in Karachi, Multan and Lahore makes long loading days hard. We start early in the morning and finish before the worst heat. In the monsoon, a closed container is a must, and we wrap furniture in stretch film so a sudden shower at loading does not soak it. In winter, fog on the motorways in Punjab can slow intercity moves, so we build an extra half day into the plan when needed.
These details sound small, but they are the difference between a house shifting job that goes to plan and one that runs late. The motorways themselves are run by the NHA, and closures for fog are announced in advance, which helps us plan around them.

How much do house shifting services cost?

How long does house shifting take?
Most homes are packed and loaded in one day. A local move is usually finished the same day. Intercity moves arrive one or two days after loading, depending on distance.
Which vehicle do I need for my house?
A one or two room flat fits a 16 or 17 ft Mazda. A three bedroom house needs a 20 or 22 ft container. A big house with full furniture needs a 24 ft container or two vehicles.
Do you fit the furniture and ACs at the new house?
Yes. Beds, wardrobes and tables are fitted again, and our technicians take down and fit split ACs, fans and LEDs. AC work is listed separately in your quotation.
Can I send only part of my household goods?
Yes. Send a few items on a shared load and pay only for the space you use.
Do you move houses on weekends and holidays?
Yes. Weekends and the first days of the month are the busiest, so book early for those dates.
What should I do before the movers arrive?
