Areas in Islamabad, sector by sector
Islamabad is a planned city, laid out in sectors named by letter and number, with societies growing along the Expressway, GT Road and the Kashmir Highway. The grid makes most moves simple, but each sector has its own house sizes, street widths and rules. To plan well, we think of the areas in Islamabad in groups.
The F and E sectors
F-6, F-7, F-8, F-10, F-11, E-7 and E-11 sit under the Margalla Hills. Houses are large, many are let to diplomats and senior officers, and streets are quiet and green. Moves here need careful packing of heavy furniture, artwork and many ACs.
The G sectors
G-6, G-7, G-8, G-9, G-10, G-11, G-13, G-14 and G-15 hold much of the city's government housing and many family homes and flats. Streets in the older G sectors are narrow and crowded near markets. We load early and check access.
The I sectors and H-13
I-8 and I-10 are busy family sectors near the industrial area, and H-13 is near the universities. Student and young family moves are common here.
The new west: D-12, B-17 and beyond
D-12, B-17 and the sectors toward the Margalla foothills and GT Road are newer, with fresh houses that often need furniture fitted and ACs installed.
Societies on the Expressway and Kashmir Highway
DHA Islamabad, Bahria Town Islamabad, PWD Housing, CBR Town, Soan Garden, Naval Anchorage, Media Town, Korang Town, Ghauri Town, Faisal Town Islamabad, Gulberg Greens, Gulberg Residencia, Park View City, Top City and the areas along the Islamabad Expressway are planned societies with gates. We share vehicle and team details in advance when asked.
Bani Gala, Bhara Kahu, Tarlai and Shehzad Town
These areas are on hills or along winding roads. Some streets are steep or narrow, so a Shehzore may need to shuttle goods to a bigger vehicle.

Islamabad roads by area
The Srinagar Highway, Jinnah Avenue, the Islamabad Expressway, the Kashmir Highway and the Margalla Road link the sectors. Some routes near the Red Zone are restricted. We check live traffic on Google Maps before the vehicle sets off.
Moving between areas in Islamabad
Most moves inside the city load and unload on the same day. Moves from the F sectors to the societies on the Expressway or to B-17 should be planned as a full day.
